Vanshika Jain

I am a Ph.D. student at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, working in the group of Dr.Pramod P. Pillai. I am interested in the application- directed fundamental research on properties and behaviour of materials at nanoscale, particularly aimed at plasmonic nanostructures and quantum dots. My current research involves fine- tuning the interactions between nanoparticle and reactants to drive challenging and multielectron reactions like carbon dioxide reduction , nitrogen fixation, nitrate reduction etc.

  • Ph.D. , Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune , India , 2019- till date; Advisor: Dr. Pramod P. Pillai

  • M.Sc. Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), Chennai, India, 2017-2019
